EST-Floattech delivers 2MWh system to WT RASA

EST-Floattech announces the successful delivery and commissioning of its maritime battery systems onboard the newly built fully electric waste tanker RASA and two electric-hybrid pilot boats. Baltic Workboats has delivered all three vessels to the Port of Klaipėda, marking another important milestone in the transition towards more sustainable and future-proof port operations in the Baltic region and another successful collaboration for EST-Floattech with Baltic Workboats.

Damen announces expansion of Combi Freighter series

Damen Shipyards Group has announced the expansion of its successful Combi Freighter (CF) series. Based on the CF 5000, the new CF 6000 and CF 7000 vessels feature an extended midship section. This provides vessel operators with additional flexibility, while retaining the reliability, efficiency and sustainability readiness that define the series.

Lancering Mpowered: de maritieme sector krijgt een gezicht

Op 2 juni is de nieuwe landelijke campagne Mpowered gelanceerd. Met een krachtig visueel beeldmerk, een levensgrote oranje M, ging de campagne van start. De M reisde door het straatbeeld om allerlei objecten te beschijnen die, zonder de inzet van de maritieme sector, geen deel zouden uitmaken van ons dagelijks leven. Van de energie die offshore wordt opgewekt om een Tesla te kunnen rijden, tot het bakje kibbeling dat door een visser uit de zee is gehaald. Van het huis in aanbouw met materialen die met binnenvaartschepen worden vervoerd tot een kledingwinkel gevuld met spullen die via de haven in de etalage terechtkomen.
